Sportsbet.io is the website that analyzes the stats of the previous matches between Watford and Bournemouth to predict the outcomes of the matches between the two teams this weekend. Both the relegation teams will be playing against each other this weekend and the winner will stand chances in the tournament.

Both of these relegation teams have come to this match with different results in the FA Cup. Watford is coming after a 3-3 draw with the Tranmere while Bournemouth is coming with the confidence of clean sheet (4-0) against Luton Town.

Although Bournemouth carries the confidence of a clean sheet. But, Watford’s draw is also not something to worry about for the management. This is because Hornet boss Nigel Pearson choose to give chance to the younger players in the match and the first team players were on the rest.

It was a surprise for everyone when the younger players were able to score the 3 goals in the first half itself. They had the lead of 3-0 in the first half. Two out of these three goals come in two minutes. The lead made by the youngsters was lost in the second half.

Tranmere led by Connor Jennings managed to pull back the score in the 65th minute of the game. The Young Waltfords melt in the second chance and the experienced team of Tranmere saw it as the perfect opportunity to even the scores. Although they were not able to equalize the score by the penalty shot by Paul Mullin in the 87th minute tied the scores.

Pearson showed a sign of maturity by saying that he has got no regrets even if he is not laying the first-team players. He added that the premium league is their priority. He focuses that no more players suffer injuries this season as it is a major problem that has hampered the performance of the team this season.

Well, Bournemouth plays impressively against Luton Town. Philip Billing leads the team and scores goals in both halves. He was the first player to score in the match. Other than billings Dominic Solanke and Callum Wilson also scored for the team and gave a clean sheet to Luton Town with a 4-0 score.

The teams managed to get 14 shot attempts in the whole game, out of these fourteen 6 were going on target. Bournemouth also had the advantage to take 12 corners. If we talk about the dominance then they dominated Luton Town with 64 percent possession.

The major thing to notice in the game was the defense by the team. The defense was so strong that out of seven shot attempts only one was on target. The Bournemouth’s game was quite attacking and the Luton Town was unable to answer back which was the major reason for their defeat.

If we look at the most recent match held between both the teams, Watford and Bournemouth then it ended in a scoreless draw that is 0-0. This match was held on 26 October 2019. If you move back a little to January in the same year, then also the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Although the match was tilted a bit towards the favor of Hornets, it finally ended in a draw.

Bournemouth has only won one time against Watford and that was back in June 2018. In the game, Joshua King scored in both halves and took his team to the 4-0 clean sheet victory.

You can expect that Bournemouth will win the game against Watford if it plays the games with the same intensity as it played against Luton Town.

But, this doesn’t mean Hornets will put down their weapons. As the youngsters took them to draw and gave rest to the first-team players in the FA Cup. The first-team players will be coming after rest and will be battle-ready against the cherries.

To know the final results the fans of both the relegation teams have to wait for the clash this weekend.
